Durmo e acordo pensando e sonhando música! Essa noite sonhei que estava num palco grande cheio de músicos e amigos. A música sempre foi motivo de alegria e festa!
Esta capa é do meu 2”CD "Nega Rosa" de 1996. Esse disco deveria ter me feito voltar aos Brasil pelas mãos de Nelson Motta, Tuta Aquino e Maria Duha, mas a Polygram Brasil no último minuto deu para trás e me deixou aquele sabor amargo na boca.
Influenciada pelo reggae do grupo Pitura Freska, onde era back vocal, Nega Rosa era a minha estréia como letrista. Fiz muitas versões das músicas do grupo e cantei as versões dos clássicos italianos "E Se Domani" e "Resta Cu’mme'" assinadas pelo próprio Nelson Motta. No disco tinha ainda canções de Gilberto Gil "Vamos Fugir" (que já cantava no meu repertório do show de estréia no Rio Ultraleve) e “Se" de Djavan.
O CD saiu somente na Itália pela Bumshiva em 1997 . Fica a lembrança daquela bela produção no Sound Track Studio de Nova York e a minha chegada triunfal na limosine branca que nos recebeu no JK Airport de NY.

I sleep and wake up thinking and dreaming about music! That night I dreamed that I was on a big stage full of musicians and friends. Music has always been a reason for joy and celebration!
This cover is from my 2”CD "Nega Rosa" from 1996. This album should have made me return to Brazil at the hands of Nelson Motta, Tuta Aquino and Maria Duha, but Polygram Brasil at the last minute gave up and left me that one bitter taste in the mouth.
Influenced by the reggae of the group Pitura Freska, where I was back vocal, Nega Rosa was my debut as a lyricist. I made many versions of the group's songs and sang versions of the Italian classics "E Se Domani" and "Resta Cu’mme'" signed by Nelson Motta himself.
